Ryan Minges Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is East Central's Ryan Minges, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Minges rushed for 121 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 51 yards.
The win (which was East Central's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. They and Greensburg are set to duel on Friday.

D'kari Mucker and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Lawrenceburg picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to D'Kari Mucker. Mucker rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. We marked that as the best he's had all season, even better than his effort last Friday.
Lawrenceburg pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Mucker will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Connersville on Friday.

Lawrenceburg Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Landon Cornett
Landon Cornett's big game helped extend Lawrenceburg's winning streak to six on Friday. Cornett was unstoppable, rushing for 46 yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Cornett has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 42.3 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 11.43 rushing yards per game.

Parker Flanigan Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Parker Flanigan of Connersville. Flanigan rushed for 36 yards.
Connersville is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. Flanigan and Connersville will face off against Lawrenceburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
