Houghton Lake lost against Pine River Area on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats came up short against the Bucks, falling 8-2. The Bobcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Houghton Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Pine River Area, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Houghton Lake has already played their next game, a 13-6 victory against Mio HomeSchool on the 2nd. As for Pine River Area, they will face off against Lake City at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bucks are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
