Baseball Game Preview: Hillcrest Rams vs. Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers

The Hillcrest Rams will challenge the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Hillcrest came up short against Dorman on Tuesday, falling 12-1.

Meanwhile, Christ Church Episcopal had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 15-4 to Chesnee last Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Christ Church Episcopal saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Phillips, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Another was Blake Foral, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Hillcrest took their victory against Christ Church Episcopal in their previous matchup back in February of 2017 by a conclusive 10-0. Will Hillcrest repeat their success, or does Christ Church Episcopal have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
