Football Recap: Grant Community Comes Up Short

Grant Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the South Elgin Storm and fell 28-0.

Grant Community's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for South Elgin, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Grant Community will take on rival Warren Township at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, South Elgin is set to face off against their familiar foe Saint Viator at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
