Preview: Franklin County Seahawks vs. Bozeman Bucks
The Franklin County Seahawks will head out on the road to face off against the Bozeman Bucks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Franklin County sitting on seven straight wins and Bozeman on three.
Franklin County scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by St. John Paul II at home to the tune of 62-33. That 29 points margin sets a new team best for Franklin County this season.
Franklin County relied on the efforts of Sa'ryiah McNair, who scored 18 points, and Mahalah Griggs, who scored 20 points.
Meanwhile, Bozeman was able to grind out a solid win over Crossroad Academy on Monday, taking the game 46-33.
Franklin County pushed their record up to 12-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Bozeman, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
Franklin County was able to grind out a solid win over Bozeman in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 42-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Franklin County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
