Volleyball Recap: Shelby County Comes Up Short

Shelby County lost against Sylacauga back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Aggies.

Maddie Talton paced Shelby County's offense, picking up four kills. Talton got some help from Wendy McGehee and her ten assists. Finally, Halle Gilbert kept Shelby County's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Shelby County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Sylacauga, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.

As of now, neither Shelby County nor the Aggies have any future games scheduled.
