Greenwich strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Staples Wreckers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.
Greenwich never let Staples on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-11, 25-14.
Kayah Armstrong paced Greenwich's offense, picking up 14 kills. Armstrong got some help from Victoria Sullivan and her 26 assists. Sullivan also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Aleena Jacobsen, each putting up three.
Greenwich's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Staples, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
