It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Steward ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Trinity Episcopal Titans out 58-56. The victory was familiar territory for the Spartans who have now won three contests in a row.

It was another big night for Donovan Richardson, who went 11 of 23 to rack up 23 points along with five rebounds and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Lj Vaughan, who posted nine points.

Steward's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Trinity Episcopal, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-7.

Steward has already played their next matchup, a 59-49 victory against Norfolk Collegiate on the 7th. As for Trinity Episcopal, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 71-52 win against Collegiate on the 7th.
