Fairmont Senior barely beat North Marion the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Polar Bears put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 17-6 victory on Wednesday. The Polar Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by ten runs or more this season.

Logan Canfield made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Canfield was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Cam Peschl was incredible, going 4-for-6 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Gorby, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
