Middletown had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Big Spring Bulldogs as they made off with a 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for Middletown, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

Ian Shaffer and Ben Yeich scored all four of Middletown's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Middletown's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Big Spring, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
