Basketball Recap: Beaver Falls Short of North Catholic in the Playoffs

Beaver and North Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Beaver had to settle for second. They took a blow against the North Catholic Trojans, falling 71-42. The game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Beaver's loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for North Catholic, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Beaver does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Catholic, they will take on Belle Vernon on Thursday. Belle Vernon will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something North Catholic surely won't give up without a fight.
