Shiner came out on top against Bartlett on Friday thanks in part to Charlie Clifford's efforts. Clifford turned in nothing short of a gem, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Clifford's strong effort led Shiner over Bartlett and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
