Softball Recap: Lynbrook Takes a Loss

Lynbrook fell victim to Harker and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Harker Eagles, falling 14-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Lynbrook saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calia Lim, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Lim is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Lynbrook and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Harker, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynbrook will host Monta Vista at 4:00 p.m. on March 26th. As for Harker, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Harker Eagles challenge Latino College Preparatory Academy Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
