Basketball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry was the 61-47 winner over Prairie City-Monroe when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Bluejays took a blow against the Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 74-35. The Bluejays just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Perry lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gavin Leslie, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Ian Fisher, who earned six points.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Prairie City-Monroe, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Perry will take on Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prairie City-Monroe, they will square off against Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
