Baseball Recap: Indy Genesis Homeschool Starts off Right with Win over Northside Christian School

Indy Genesis HomeSchool had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Northside Christian School Eagles 16-1.

The team relied heavily on Gabe Barnes, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Althoff, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Coming up, Indy Genesis HomeSchool is taking a road trip to square off against Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northside Christian School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
