Basketball Recap: Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Takes a Loss

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia lost against Calhoun back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calhoun Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 372nd, while the Warriors are ranked 178th).

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Calhoun, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-7.

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia is taking a road trip to take on Brown County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Calhoun, they will welcome Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
