Central Christian Academy and Inman squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Central Christian Academy had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Inman Teutons. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Central Christian Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Inman work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 27-25.

Audrey Arnold paced Central Christian Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Arnold got some help from Jaye McCurdy and her ten assists. Julia Glassburn controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Central Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 25-12. As for Inman, they pushed their record up to 25-12 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road.
