Elizabeth Forward came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Trinity Hillers.

Jacob Peterson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one double.

Elizabeth Forward's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Trinity, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-9 record.

Elizabeth Forward does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity, they will square off against Pine-Richland at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Hillers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
