Basketball Recap: Shields Valley Comes Up Short

Shields Valley lost against Sweet Grass County back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Shields Valley Rebels received a blow as they fell 64-49 to the Sweet Grass County Sheepherders. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shields Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Sweet Grass County, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shields Valley will venture away from home to challenge Gardiner at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Shields Valley is facing Gardiner at the right time seeing as Gardiner is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Sweet Grass County, they will square off against Park City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
