Soccer Game Preview: James F. Byrnes vs. Boiling Springs

James F. Byrnes came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Eastside, falling 5-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, James F. Byrnes' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Boiling Springs had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over Gaffney last Monday.

James F. Byrnes' defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Boiling Springs, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5.

James F. Byrnes took their win against Boiling Springs in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0. Will James F. Byrnes repeat their success, or does Boiling Springs has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
