Softball Recap: Edward Little's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Five

With a playoff win on the line, Edward Little rose to the challenge on Thursday. They beat the Oxford Hills Vikings by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-4. The win was nothing new for the Red Eddies as they're now sitting on five straight.

Kassidy Lobb spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Edward Little's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kylee Lebrun, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Edward Little's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Oxford Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-6.

As of now, neither Edward Little nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
