Cedaredge came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Meeker Cowboys. While the Bruins didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The team relied heavily on Rylan Brooks, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Cedaredge's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Meeker, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
