Football Recap: Arcadia Titans vs. Vista Grande Spartans        
        
		
             It was fun while it lasted, but Arcadia's undefeated season came to an end after  eight games  on Friday. They were just a  hair shy of victory  and fell  8-7 to the Vista Grande Spartans. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2023.
 When it comes to explaining why Arcadia lost, don't look at  Ryan Jimenez. Despite the final result, he rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown. Jimenez's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100  rushing yards.
 Arcadia wouldn't let Vista Grande keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Arcadia can thank  Zander Quintana and  Milo Marinick for forcing both of them.
  Fernando Moya continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Vista Grande, rushing for 158 yards while picking up 8.3 yards per carry.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Arcadia  fell to 8-1. As for Vista Grande, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
 Arcadia didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  42-24  defeat against Arizona College Prep on the 8th. Vista Grande has also  already played their next contest,  a  21-16  victory against Combs on the 8th.
