Baseball Recap: Amarillo Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Amarillo can now relate to. They came up short against the Aledo Bearcats on Friday, falling 15-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Amarillo and nudges their season record down to 24-13-1. As for Aledo, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 27-7.

While Amarillo had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
