            Baseball Recap: Liberty North Eagles vs. Lee's Summit Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Raymore-Peculiar  last Monday, Liberty North came back down to earth. The Eagles fell  7-4 to the Lee's Summit Tigers on Wednesday. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.
Liberty North got a good showing from  Chase Grady, who   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 At the plate,  Tucker Gamet was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
Having lost for the first time  this season, Liberty North  fell to 3-1. As for Lee's Summit, their victory  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 5-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Liberty North Eagles  take on  Glendale Falcons at 11:00  a.m.  on Friday. As for Lee's Summit, they will head out to  take on Truman  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
