St. Ignace came into Wednesday's   game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with  a   10-5  victory over the Brimley Bays  on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Saints: when they faced off against the Bays  on Wednesday, they had to take a  8-4  defeat.
  Maggie Massey was  excellent,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs. Those  stolen bases marked the first that  she has  snagged this season. Another player making a difference was  Alice Winberg, who  got on base  in two of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
St. Ignace picked up their first home  win, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Brimley, they now  have a losing record of 1-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Ignace will venture away from home to  face off against Cedarville  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Brimley, they will head out to  challenge Charlevoix  at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday.
