It's playoff time, and Elk Point-Jefferson had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 43-36 win over the Deuel Cardinals on Friday. The victory was just business as usual for the Huskies, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.

When it comes to explaining why Deuel lost, don't look at Aidan Sievers. Despite the final result, he rushed for 73 yards and two scores, and also threw for 186 yards and a pair of TDs. Gavin Kloos helped out on the ground, rushing for 123 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Elk Point-Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Deuel, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Elk Point-Jefferson will take on St. Thomas More at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Cavaliers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. Deuel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
