Soccer Recap: Lutheran North Comes Up Short

Lutheran North was the 4-1 winner over Everest Collegiate when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs came up short against Everest Collegiate on Tuesday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Lutheran North can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 278th, while Everest Collegiate are ranked 70th).

Lutheran North's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Everest Collegiate, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran North will host St. Mary's Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Everest Collegiate, they will welcome University Liggett at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
