Basketball Recap: Eden Valley-Watkins Comes Up Short

Eden Valley-Watkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 68-49 to the Foley Falcons. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Eden Valley-Watkins' defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Foley, they moved to 6-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Eden Valley-Watkins will face off against Paynesville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Foley, they will head out to square off against St. Cloud Cathedral at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in St. Cloud Cathedral's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
