They took down the Climax Springs Cougars 59-43. Given the Mules' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Cougars are ranked 313th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wheatland's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for Climax Springs, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 9-8 record.
