Basketball Recap: Scranton Falls Short of Rural Special in the Playoffs

Scranton and Rural Special squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Scranton had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Rural Special Rebels 61-26. The contest marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Rural Special, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Scranton nor Rural Special have any future games scheduled.
