Ava Fladung made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Pearson, who went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, and a run.
The Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Strasburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.
