Volleyball Game Preview: Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes vs. Salt Fork Storm

Georgetown-Ridge Farm is 2-8 against Salt Fork since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Buffaloes will look to defend their home court against the Storm at 5:30 p.m. Georgetown-Ridge Farm will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Georgetown-Ridge Farm beat Iroquois West 2-0.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Salt Fork, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against Milford by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

Salt Fork not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Milford between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17.

Salt Fork now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm was able to grind out a solid victory over Salt Fork in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Buffaloes repeat their success, or do the Storm have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
