Football Recap: Stuarts Draft Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Stuarts Draft was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. The matchup between the Cougars and the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets didn't end well, with the Cougars falling 27-13. The Cougars have struggled against the Green Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Stuarts Draft still got an impressive performance from Derrick Moore, who rushed for 149 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries.

Stuarts Draft's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Wilson Memorial, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Stuarts Draft will challenge Madison County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wilson Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
