Basketball Recap: South Fulton Takes a Loss

South Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. 2025 welcomed they with a 65-45 loss courtesy of the Union City Golden Tornadoes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 57-20 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

South Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Union City, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-10 record.

South Fulton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-52 win against Fulton County on the 7th. As for Union City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-51 loss against Henry County on the 7th.
