Volleyball Recap: Somers Comes Up Short

Somers lost against Scarsdale back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tuskers came up short against the Raiders, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-22.

Somers' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Scarsdale, they pushed their record up to 10-4-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Somers will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Croton-Harmon at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Scarsdale, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Port Chester on the 14th.
