Orono and Bucksport are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Riots will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Golden Bucks at 7:00 p.m. Orono will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Orono is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Washington Academy, who was ranked 20th at the time (Orono was ranked ninth). The Riots came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 28-21 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Bucksport lost 36-14 to Telstar on Saturday. The Golden Bucks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Orono's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bucksport, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
