Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt lost against Barberton back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Roosevelt Rough Riders took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Barberton Magics. The Rough Riders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Roosevelt still got an impressive performance from Gavin Peeps, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 18 boards. Jaden Dennison was another key player, putting up ten points.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Barberton, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Roosevelt will challenge Copley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Barberton, they will take on Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Highland has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 188 points over their last three matches.
