After having lost a blowout in their previous game against El Camino Real, Granada Hills Charter was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 46-17 victory over the Chatsworth Chancellors. The win continues a trend for the Highlanders in their matchups with the Chancellors: they've now won nine in a row.

Dean Rosales was his usual excellent self, rushing for 125 yards and two TDs on only 12 carries. He is becoming a predictor of Granada Hills Charter's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't). The Highlanders also got a significant boost from Michael Osuna, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 81 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Granada Hills Charter was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 299 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 158 rushing yards in nine consecutive contests dating back to last season.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Granada Hills Charter's defense and their four sacks. In that department, Evan Barte-Plange was the leader with two.

The victory got Granada Hills Charter back to even at 4-4. As for Chatsworth, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
