Southridge fell victim to Palm Beach Gardens and their airtight defense on Monday. The contest between the Southridge Spartans and the Palm Beach Gardens Gators didn't end well, with the Southridge Spartans falling 19-0. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

A big part of Palm Beach Gardens' win came down to the chemistry between Myla Alligood and her top target Janiya Hollins. Alligood threw for 157 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.9% of her passes while Hollins picked up 79 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Having lost for the first time this season, Southridge fell to 5-1. As for Palm Beach Gardens, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Southridge will face off against Coral Gables at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Southridge's defense has only allowed 5.3 points per game this season, so Coral Gables' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Palm Beach Gardens, they will take on Palm Beach Lakes at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Palm Beach Lakes' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
