Basketball Recap: Campus Magnet Takes a Loss

Campus Magnet lost against Bowne back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Campus Magnet Bulldogs fell 57-49 to the Bowne Wildcats. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bowne's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Moustapha Sanoh led the charge by dropping a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Donte Cromwell, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards.

Campus Magnet's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Bowne, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-8.

Campus Magnet will square off against Far Rockaway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bowne, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-54 victory against Forest Hills on the 3rd.
