Basketball Game Preview: Faulkton Trojans vs. Northwestern Area Wildcats

The Faulkton Trojans will square off against the Northwestern Area Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Faulkton came up short against Ipswich and fell 39-29. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Northwestern Area also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Roncalli by a score of 55-42. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now lost five in a row.

Northwestern Area's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Faulkton, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-8.

Faulkton took their victory against Northwestern Area in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 70-49. Will Faulkton repeat their success, or does Northwestern Area have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
