Soccer Game Preview: Riverside-Durham vs. American Leadership Academy-Johnston

The Riverside-Durham Pirates will face off against the American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside-Durham's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Riverside-Durham fell victim to Clayton and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Comets by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by just one goal.

Riverside-Durham was without their leading scorer, Greyson Range, in Friday's game. With Range sidelined, Abby Cho got her first action of the season.

Meanwhile, American Leadership Academy-Johnston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to Wake Prep Academy.

American Leadership Academy-Johnston's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Riverside-Durham, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
