Soccer Game Preview: United vs. Taft

United hasn't had much luck against Taft recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Longhorns will take on the Raiders at 7:00 p.m.

United's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Highlands as they made off with a 5-0 win.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Taft was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Marshall could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Taft's draw gives them a new season record of 0-3-1. As for United, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

United might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Taft in their previous meeting back in January of 2025. Can the Longhorns avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
