Box Elder and Bonneville are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Bees will welcome the Lakers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Bonneville will be up against a hot Box Elder squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. The Bees were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over Woods Cross on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bees, who have now won 19 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Lucy Braegger looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jenna Marble was incredible, going 2-for-3 with six RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Kailee Hall was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Box Elder was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in seven consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Bonneville made easy work of East on Monday and carried off a 17-3 victory. The Lakers haven't had any issues with the Leopards recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Box Elder's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.9 runs over those games. As for Bonneville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-16.

Box Elder took their win against Bonneville in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 12-1 score. Will the Bees repeat their success, or do the Lakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
