Basketball Recap: Olympus Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Olympus can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Bountiful RedHawks and fell 74-25. The matchup marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Olympus had strong showings from Joss Baker, who posted 16 points, and Annie Erickson, who scored six points. That was a full 64% of Olympus' points, marking the third time in a row Baker has put up more than a third of the team's points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bountiful to victory, but perhaps none more so than Milika Satuala, who went 8-for-15 en route to 16 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds. The game was Satuala's third in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Harvey, who went 7-for-10 on her way to 19 points and eight boards.

Olympus' loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Bountiful, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

Olympus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bountiful, they will take on Spanish Fork at 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Bountiful is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.7 points per game this season.
