Basketball Recap: Oak Hill Drops Highest Score of Season Against East

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oak Hill). Everything went their way against the East Tartans on Monday as the Oak Hill Oaks made off with a 53-32 win. This was payback for the Oaks, who suffered a 29-25 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Oak Hill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Charissa Krannitz out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. With that strong performance, Krannitz is now averaging an impressive 8.6 rebounds per game. Alyssa Whitt was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Oak Hill and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Oak Hill will welcome South Webster at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East, they will head out to square off against Manchester at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
