Baseball Recap: Point Pleasant Comes Up Short

Point Pleasant lost to Hurricane back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Big Blacks fell 6-1 to the Redskins.

Point Pleasant has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season. As for Hurricane, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Looking ahead, Point Pleasant will head out on the road to square off against Herbert Hoover at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hurricane, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
