Northwestern found a leader in Ellie Peterson as the team took down Spooner on Tuesday. Peterson was unstoppable, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
