Softball Recap: Bridgeton Comes Up Short

Bridgeton lost against Cape May County Tech back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Hawks, falling 22-6. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bridgeton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Cape May County Tech, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bridgeton will welcome Lower Cape May at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cape May County Tech, they will take on LEAP Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.67 runs per game on average), something the Hawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
